Set up your work context

Give your AI a better picture of your work.

OpenWorkGraph can work entirely on your computer, or you can share selected, privacy-hardened new evidence with ChatGPT through your connected OpenWorkGraph account. You choose whether to use the desktop recorder.

Optional · ChatGPT

Already connected in ChatGPT?

Your ChatGPT connection and recording your computer's activity are two separate choices. You can finish connecting ChatGPT without installing anything on your computer.

  1. If you have not done so, complete the OpenWorkGraph sign-in in ChatGPT.
  2. To give ChatGPT evidence of your desktop work, install OpenWorkGraph below.
  3. Open the desktop app, select Connect AI → Connect ChatGPT, sign in with the same account, and explicitly approve sharing new evidence.
  4. Return to ChatGPT and ask about your work after evidence has synchronized.

Signing in never starts recording, authorizes observation, or uploads old history. ChatGPT cannot silently install desktop software or grant macOS/Windows permissions.

Independent · Local-first

Prefer the standalone app?

Install OpenWorkGraph and use local recordings, exports, and supported MCP connections with the AI or agent of your choice. An account and ChatGPT are not required.

  1. Install and open OpenWorkGraph on macOS or Windows.
  2. Choose whether to record and whether to enable optional browser/agent observation.
  3. Use Connect AI for supported local AI clients, or export your evidence for another tool.
How to use OpenWorkGraph with AI →

Install OpenWorkGraph on your computer

Choose the regular installer for your operating system. The app and local storage work independently of ChatGPT. After installation, launch OpenWorkGraph from Applications or the Start menu; its dashboard will guide you through any optional AI connection.

Download for macOS (.pkg) Download for Windows (.exe)

Operating-system security approval may be required. OpenWorkGraph is preparing signed/notarized installers; follow the instructions shown by the installer. See release details.

Sharing is always a separate decision. The local recorder does not require a cloud account. Connecting ChatGPT does not turn on observation, and linking the desktop to the hosted Gateway does not automatically share historical local records. You can pause or disconnect sharing in the app.
